When you sign up for our fee-based Rehabilitation and Lead Paint Abatement Services, our NeighborWorks® HomeOwnership Center of Worcester in-house Rehabilitation Specialist and/or Lead Paint Abatement Specialist will provide the following services to you:
Prepare a detailed work write-up of your project to distribute to Licensed, Insured & Experienced contractors.
Collect proper insurance forms, copies of applicable licenses and referrals from customers prior to a site visit to your home with the three most qualified Contractors.
Monitor your project and schedule partial payment "draw-downs" for contractor payments at the various stages of completion.
In the event of specification changes or unforeseen conditions, produce change orders that will become an addendum to the contract with full details of the specification change and any necessary monetary adjustment.
Note: Senior Citizens may be eligible for a variety of assistance programs that the Rehabilitation and/or Lead Paint Abatement Specialist can consolidate and coordinate in order to minimize the overall costs of the project.
